The position is for an Project Architect/Job Captain who is capable of running a project and creating working drawings. The candidate will work directly with the principal on the project designs and assist in managing drafting staff. The majority of the projects are restaurants and amenities facilities. Projects are located in Los Angeles area, San Francisco, and San Diego . Candidates must have a solid foundation and knowledge of commercial construction and coordination with developers. Tasks includes; detailing, coordinating with contractors, MEP engineers, kitchen consultant, and structural engineers and dealing directly with the clients. The normal scope of our projects is all encompassing, including architectural code research/programing, client relations, interior design and material selections, lighting design, and construction administration. The firm is using Archicad BIM modeling and Autocad for detailing and coordination with the consultants. Knowledge of ArchiCad or Revit with the willingness to learn ArchiCad is required. Architectural experience of 3 years plus is required.
